Aboot Oot and Aboot

When I was little I used to think I was going to marry Prince William.  Don't judge me, he was foxy back in his younger years, so why would I turn down his offer?  Fact is, when you are young you think you’ll grow up to be incredibly rich and famous.  But the more we grow into our awkward bodies and become aware of life outside of Henry Sibley High School we start thinking of ourselves as “normal” or “average.”

So, you ask why the world needs yet another blog from the average girl writing about the latest dramatics or opinions from Glamour?  Well that’s not the kind of stuff you’ll find here.  This is more about venturing away from Tuesday night episodes of Glee, typical dinner and a movie dates and Friday nights at the Drink (eight uptown or downtown- regardless that place sucks).

This is all about getting Oot and Aboot, making the most of our everyday lives here in Minnesota. So this is what you can expect to hear about:

The Minnesota Twins – Not focused on the play-by-play or Joe Mauer’s sideburns, just completely biased commentary about the world’s greatest baseball team.

St. Pauli Girls – Three twenty-something girls perusing the town for good times and good fodder for the blog.

Running around – My efforts to run a marathon…and other ridiculous health related activities that will help me burn off all the junk food I refuse to give up.

Getting Oot and Aboot – Favorite hot spots in the Twin Cities--- and abroad as the budget allows.

Well this may be the life of an average twenty-something Minnesotan, but you know what its pretty fan-fucking-tastic. All this stuff you grew up with about not making it on the big screen, who needs it? Besides, is there anyone out there who still really wants to marry the balding Prince William?  Kate Middleton you have my felicitations.  Price Harry is WAY hotter now anyway.
